Signs of Solidarity is an ongoing public art project that aims to inspire positivity, love, and hope in our communities. It started in Philadelphia in 2017 by Conrad Benner from Streets Dept and Eric Preisendanz as a way to promote messages of love and inclusivity to stand in opposition to hate and in protest of any and all that embolden divisiveness. They teamed up with Living Walls to hire artists to spread the messaging in the South and Signs of Solidarity ATL was born. It was meant to give people hope at the beginning of a terrifying global pandemic. Since 2020 I have participated in S.O.S. ATL as an artist creating signs promoting unity and hope. My two pieces are titled "For you, for us, for them" & "Distance gives us a reason to love harder".
