Hola, My name is Maite Nazario. I'm a queer,

non-binary, Guatemalan and Puerto Rican multidisciplinary artist with a focus on activism.

I create to honor my community so that my art can serve as a testament of love to them.

 

My work is about highlighting the lives of people who are resilient and shine in a world that tries to take their light. I hope my art creates empathy in people's hearts and opens them up to listen to the valuable lived experiences of others.
